«Profesional de la informacion» monographic issue dedicated to Loet Leydesdorff

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for an extra monograph of the journal Profesional de la información (Scopus Q1, WoS Q2)
in honour of the great scientometrist Loet Leydesdorff.

We published one of Loets’s last articles:
Leydesdorff, LoetZhang, LinWouters, Paul (2023). “Trajectories and regimes in research versus knowledge evaluations: Contributions to an evolutionary theory of citation”. Profesional de la información, v. 32, n. 1, e320103.
In 2016 Loet won our First SCImago-EPI Award for this article:
Leydesdorff, LoetWagner, Caroline S.Park, Han-WooAdams, Jonathan (2013). “International collaboration in science: the global map and the network”. Profesional de la información, v. 22, n. 1, pp. 87-94.
and he came to the Universitat de Barcelona to pick up the award in the name of the co-authors.

The monographic issue will be vol. 32, no. 7, to be published in November of this year, 2023.
